Shamrock Rovers are into the semi finals of the FAI Ford Cup.
They scored twice late on to edge out Dundalk 2-1 at Oriel Park last night in their quarter-final replay.
Pat Hoban gave the home side the lead in the first half.
But Karl Sheppard was the hero for Rovers, as he came off the bench and scored twice in the last 9 minutes to send Pat Fenlon's side through to the last four.
The result ends Dundalk’s hopes of a treble.
The sides meet again in the EA Sports Cup Final on Saturday evening.
