In badminton there was a great start for Ireland in the European Mixed Team Championships in Baldoyle.
Ireland beat Norway 4-1 in the first of their games in this quadrangular qualifying tournament.
Scott Evans got the Irish off to a flyer with a straight sets win in the singles.
Chloe Magee and the mens doubles team followed up with two more straight sets wins to give Ireland an unassailable lead.
In the dead rubbers Norway won the womens doubles - Ireland the mixed doubles.
Ireland now meet Slovakia tomorrow at 6pm.
