There’s been some good news for the Republic of Ireland ahead of the start of the Euro 2016 qualifiers next month.
They've moved up four places in the latest FIFA World rankings.
They now sit in 66th place, ahead of Oman, who Martin O'Neill's side face in a friendly next month.
They then open their European Championship qualifier campaign away to Georgia four days later.
Ireland's group opponents Germany stay top of the World rankings after their World Cup success, with Argentina second and the Netherlands third.
Other Group D rivals Scotland are 28th, with Poland 61st.
