Dublin legend Charlie Redmond spoke ahead of Dublin’s last Super 8’s game today as they take on Roscommon in Croke Park throw in is at 3.30pm.

Charlie shared his thoughts on the team Dublin might field against Roscommon and how the boys in blue will fare against the Rossies.
“I think the Dublin team that plays today will be very different to the team who plays next week.”
“I think he may even play a full 15 who’s not gonna start next week, that would be unique in the GAA particularly this late in the championship.”
“Dublin have such a strong squad that I fully feel that even with a reduced team they’ll beat Roscommon today.”
The speculation around the starting 15 stems from Dublin having already cemented their place in the semi finals next week where they take on Galway, so today’s game is not a must win for the boys in blue and could warrant some game time for younger players.
“The six day turnaround (between Roscommon and Galway semi-final) won’t bother them in the least because they’ll have prepared for it.”
“They have all the facilities, all the equipment needed to actually get them back into full game mode.”
“Jim Gavin prepares his team very diligently and I’ve no doubt that this Saturday will be no different.”
