Former Irish striker Niall Quinn is backing Ireland's assistant boss to take the manager's job at Celtic.
Roy Keane's admitted that he's open to offers while manager Martin O'Neill revealed on Saturday he wouldn't stand in his way.
The duo are only in their respective Ireland jobs six months but Quinn told Sky Sports News the job at Parkhead is made for Keane.
"It's a pretty good job to get for somebody like Roy who's re-establishing himself and his credentials as a manager. And despite his commitment to Ireland and what he has said in the last few months, this is something you'd nearly have to grab with both hands."
Quinn added that the prospect of winning trophies with Celtic is made a lot easier with the traditional Scottish heavyweights languishing in the Championship for next season.
"It's not going to be the toughest task in the world to get silverware, no Hearts, no Hibs and no Rangers."
