Gus Poyet has wasted no time in reshaping his Sunderland squad, as he prepares for his first Summer in charge of the Black Cats.
Craig Gardner, Phil Bardsley, and Kieran Westwood have all been let go as their contracts run out next month.
Bardsley has already signed a three year deal with Stoke City, after making 200 appearances for Sunderland.
Craig Gardner has agreed to join West Brom, which means he will have played for Aston Villa, Birmingham and the Brummies in the City of Birmingham.
Irish International Westwood started the season as number one, but a shoulder injury gave Vito Mannone the opportunity which he never relinquished.
It is also believed that Poyet will shake up his attacking options.
Conor Wickham will continue as first choice after finishing the season strongly, while Altidore and Fletcher may well be heading for the exit door.
