Jared Payne and Robbie Henshaw will start in the centre for Ireland’s November International clash with South Africa on Saturday.
Speculation had been rife that the pair would be picked in midfield, with Gordon D’Arcy struggling with an injury.
And that speculation proved correct, with D'Arcy not even picked among the subs.
Payne will be making his debut in the Springboks clash.
Rob Kearney has recovered from injury to take his place at full back, with Tommy Bowe and Simon Zebo on the wings.
Any doubts about Jonathan Sexton have also been dispelled.
He starts at out half, with Conor Murray his partner in the half back line.
Up front, Sean Cronin is in at hooker, as Rory Best misses out with a calf injury.
Mike Ross has also recovered from a groin problem to take his place in front row, where he will also be joined by Jack McGrath.
Captain Paul O'Connell and Devin Toner are in the second row, with Peter O'Mahony, Chris Henry and Jamie Heaslip making up the back row.
Richardt Strauss, Dave Kilcoyne, Rodney Ah You, Mike McCarthy, Rhys Ruddock, Eoin Reddan, Ian Madigan and Felix Jones make up the replacements.
The game takes place this Saturday, 8th November at 5:30pm at the Aviva Stadium.
