Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has denied reports this morning that suggest Paul Pogba will leave the club in January.
The 26-year-old midfielder last played for the Old Trafford club back in September, having been sidelined with an ankle injury.
The French World Cup-winner was said to be "ill" by United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this week, and hence will miss United's Premier League trip to Watford on Sunday afternoon.
And reports in The Irish Mirror today suggest Pogba's United teammates and club officials are now convinced he has lined out for the club for the final time.
However, Solskjaer has denied reports of Solskjaer leaving in a press conference today. The United boss says he has no plans to offload Pogba next month.
“He is not being sold in January. I hope he will play before the end of the year but I am not going to push him. I can’t risk any setbacks or injuries."
In a press conference earlier this week ahead of United's 3-0 Carabao Cup quarter-final win over Colchester United, Solskjaer had suggested a cold was the reason for Pogba's continued absence.
"He's been struck down ill.
"He's been off two days, which is not beneficial. It's probably set him back quite a bit."

"As I’ve said so many times, Paul is a top player that we want to see playing his best football at Man United.
"We just need to get him match fit. He might be half an hour, 45, 60, 90 minutes - who knows - in the first game. We’re working hard to get him back, but now he’s ill.
"It's games like the Everton one, for example, when you are lacking that one creative pass or idea. He has the quality not many midfielders in the world have, so it would be great to get him back."
Pogba had attended his brother's wedding in France last Friday, his "illness" was assessed by club doctors on Saturday, and it's understood his condition worsened on Sunday.
This morning's reports suggest Pogba wants to leave the club, ideally at the next opportunity in January's transfer window.
Pogba is United's club record £89million signing, having been brought back to Manchester from Juventus in 2016.
