Pat's Out of the Setanta Sports Cup

Disappointing night for St. Pat's at Richmond Park - the Saints were hammered 5-1 by Sligo Rovers in the second leg of their Setanta Sports Cup semi-final so Sligo won 7-1 over the two legs. Aaron Greene scored twice for Sligo in the first-half while Joesph Ndo and John Russell were also on target and Derek Foran scored an own goal. Lee Lynch did score a consolation the goal for Pat's but Sligo will now play Shamrock Rovers or Dundalk in the final - Dundalk take a 2-1 lead into tonight's second leg at Tallaght Stadium.
