All three League of Ireland sides advanced to the semi finals of the Setanta Sports Cup last night. St. Pats hammered Ballinamallard 5-0 at Richmond Park to win 6-0 on aggregate - Mark Quigley and Conan Byrne scored two each while Daryl Kavanagh got the other goal. Sligo Rovers also won 5-0 at home to Crusaders so 9-1 over the two legs and Stephen O'Donnell scored a last minute winner for Dundalk to send them through - Stephen Kenny's side won 2-0 and 4-3 on aggregate.
