Pat Gilroy’s first taste of senior inter-county management will likely see him take his Dublin hurling team to Croke Park to play Offaly on January 27th.

The game will form part of a double header with his old team, the Dublin footballers. Jim Gavin’s charges begin their quest to reclaim their crown from Kerry with a matchup against Kildare.

The proposed fixtures for the 2018 Allianz League will see Dublin’s footballers playing Kildare, Tyrone, Donegal, Mayo, Kerry, Galway and Monaghan.

All-Ireland hurling champions Galway will open their Allianz League defence in Division 1B at home to Antrim on Sunday on January 28th.

The Division 1 football final is set to be played on April, 1, with the hurling decider due to take place a week earlier.
