Shamrock Rovers have confirmed the appointment of Pat Fenlon as their new manager.
The former Shelbourne, Bohemians, Derry City and Hibernian boss takes over at the club following Trevor Croly’s departure last weekend.
He will take training with the Rovers squad this afternoon, with his first game in charge to be against Derry City at Tallaght Stadium on Friday night in the SSE Airtricity League.
Fenlon says “I’m looking forward to the game against Derry City on Friday night. Hopefully there will be a big crowd and we will work hard to get a result from the game and start on a positive note.”
