George Ford has been given a route back into the England squad with Owen Farrell ruled out through injury.
Captain Farrell has an ankle injury, that will definitely keep the Saracens out-half out of England's Six Nations opener against Scotland on February 5.
Farrell suffered the injury in training with his club, and will have the severity of the problem become clearer after a scan this week.
The last of Ford's 77 caps came in last year's defeat to Ireland at the Aviva, but the Leicester no.10 wasn't used in the autumn, nor was he included in Jones' original squad.
Daly also receives a belated call due to a knee injury sustained by Jonny May. The Gloucester winger is nursing a knee injury, and will almost certainly miss England's first two games with Scotland and Italy.
May's been a key component of Jones' sides of the last few years, running in a whopping 35 tries in 67 caps.
Jones' other change sees Saracens Nick Isiekwe added to their training group in Brighton, with Courtney Lawes unable to train this week as he observes head injury assessment protocols.
