O'Mahony returns as Munster make five changes for Castres clash

Peter O'Mahony is back in the Munster side for tomorrow's Heineken Champions Cup meeting with Castres.

The captain returns to the back row, having missed the win over Ulster last weekend in the United Rugby Championship.

He picked up a leg strain before kick-off.

Johann Van Graan has also included Keith Earls and Conor Murray in the starting line-up, which shows five changes in all.

Andrew Conway and Jack O'Donoghue are also poised to start in a strong-looking XV.

Jack Crowley has been named at out-half, where he makes a first Champions Cup start.

Jake Flannery is the out-half listed among the replacements, and will make his European debut if introduced.

Munster's recent form has been indifferent on the domestic front.

They underwhelmed in a loss to Connacht on New Year's Day, but their win against Ulster gave reason for encouragement last Saturday.

Castres caused the province difficulties in the corresponding fixture in December at Thomond Park - though Munster eventually won 19-13.

The French side are third in the Top 14.

Munster: Mike Haley; Andrew Conway, Chris Farrell, Rory Scannell, Keith Earls; Jack Crowley, Conor Murray; Dave Kilcoyne, Niall Scannell, Stephen Archer; Fineen Wycherley, Tadhg Beirne; Peter O’Mahony (C), Jack O’Donoghue, Gavin Coombes.

Replacements: Diarmuid Barron, Jeremy Loughman, John Ryan, Jean Kleyn, John Hodnett, Craig Casey, Jake Flannery, Shane Daly.
