La Rochelle head coach Ronan O'Gara has been banned and fined by the French National Rugby League (LNR), but not for last week's clash with Christophe Urios.
O'Gara has been suspended for two weeks and fined €1,000 for "indiscipline, in particular challenging the decisions of match officials".
The incident stems from a recent 19-0 win in the Top 14 for La Rochelle over O'Gara's previous club, Racing 92.
Furthermore, La Rochelle have been fined €10,000, with half of that suspended.
They might not have long to wait before digging into their pockets for the suspended part of that fine.
O'Gara - along with Bordeaux-Begles head coach Christophe Urios - are due to appear before an LNR disciplinary committee next Wednesday (April 13).
They almost came to blows on the sideline just before half-time in La Rochelle's one-point win at the Stade Chaban-Dalmas last weekend. Urios even appeared to aim a slap at O'Gara's head.
The two sides are due to meet in the last-16 of the Heineken Champions Cup, with the first leg in Bordeaux this weekend, but O'Gara's suspension means he'll miss both legs.
Urios seems to thrive on the controversy, saying this week, "Yes, I want that [animosity], because I like it!
"It's a final phase match, against an opponent where we don't necessarily like each other."
