Darren O'Dea has come out in defence of his old boss Brendan Rodgers.
The Irish international was signed by the Liverpool manager when he was in charge at Reading in 2009.
Rodgers is still under pressure despite halting a disappointing run of results with a 1-0 Premier League win over Stoke at Anfield yesterday.
The Reds boss admitted after his side were beaten by Crystal Palace last week that he was fighting to keep his job.
