O'Connor Qualifies for Semi Finals of Halfpipe

Ireland's Seamus O'Connor's into the semi finals of the halfpipe at the Winter Olympics in Sochi. The 16 year old snowboarder finished 8th in his heat. O'Connor scored 66.25 in his first run and he bettered that in his second run with 71.50. The top 3 qualified for the final - 5th to 9th place was good enough for a place in this afternoon's semi final - it gets underway at 3.00 irish time.
