Seamus O'Connor has been knocked out of the mens half pipe semi-final at the Winter Olympics in Socchi.
The 16 year old snowboarder scored 54.00 and was sitting in the final qualifying spot with just 4 more riders to go.
But 3 of those final four finished higher than the Irishman, and pushed O'Connor down to 9th place overall.
Before that, O'Connor finished in 8th in his heat of the half pipe earlier today.
O'Connor scored 66.25 in his first run and he bettered that in his second run with 71.50. But was unable to secure a spot in this years final.
