Rory mcIlroy has moved up four places in the World Rankings to 6th, after winning the Players Championship yesterday in dramatic style.
The former World no.1 beat Offaly lad Shane Lowry by a single shot at Wentworth in the dying minutes of the final round.
It capped off an eventful week for McIlroy who called off his wedding with Caroline Wozniacki, just four days earlier.
Lowry's finish sees him move from 142 to 74
