It has been announced that Mattie Kenny is to be appointed as the new Dublin Senior Hurling manager.
The Galway native led Cuala to back-to-back All-Ireland club hurling titles in 2017 and 2018.
The appointment was confirmed on the Dublin GAA Twitter page this afternoon, and his three year term will be ratified at the next meeting of the County Committee.

Kenny was a selector with Anthony Cunningham when Galway fell short to Kilkenny in the All Ireland Final in 2012.
He also managed the Galway U21s to the All-Ireland success in 2011.
