Mark English has won bronze at the Euros.
The Donegalman earned Ireland their first medal at the European Championships in Zurich with a thrilling third place finish in the final of the 800 metres in Zurich.
English had hopes of claiming silver as he entered the home straight but Artur Kuciapski pipped him for that silver medal with fellow Pole Adam Kszczot the gold medallist.
English admitted afterwards he'd run his own race and tweaked the tactical element of his preparations since the semis.
