Liverpool have got their new season off to a winning start after beating Southampton at Anfield....
But the Reds didn't have it all their own way...
Raheem Sterling sliding the ball past Fraser Forster after 22 minutes after a fantastic pass from Jordan Henderson.
Right-back Nathanial Clyne smashed home the equalizer on 55 minutes from a great back-heel from Tadic.
Daniel Sturridge showed that he is more than capable of filling the void left by Luis Suarez, as he scored the winner for Liverpool after 80 minutes.
But until Liverpool re-took the lead, it was Southampton who looked the more dangerous.
And it was a Southampton debut to forget for Shane Long, who missed an open goal in the 90th minute for the visitors.
