Leinster are hopeful that Jamie Heaslip and Rob Kearney could both be available for their Champions Cup clash with Wasps in two weeks time.
Heaslip was a late withdrawal from the Ireland team, for the Six Nations win over against England at the weekend with a hamstring injury.
Kearney was also ruled out of the game with a knee injury.
Leinster coach John Fogarty admits both players will miss this Saturday’s PRO 12 visit of the Cardiff Blues.
But he told 98FM’s Derek Ryan that he’s hopeful they could recover in time for the Wasps game:
Josh van der Flier is also close to a comeback, after suffering a shoulder injury against Edinburgh in February:
Sean Cronin and Isa Nacewa are also back in training, after recovering from shoulder and Knee injuries respectively.
And Fogarty admits it’s crucial that van der Flier, Cronin and Nacewa get game time this week, in order to be available for the Wasps game:
