Leinster won the RaboDirect Pro12 League beating Glasgow by 34 points to 12 in the final at the RDS.
It was by no means a walk in the park for the Blues who were matched step by step for much of the game but eventually motored away out of sight.
It was tinged with disappointment for Brian O'Driscoll who was playing his last ever competitive rugby but was forced off with a hamstring injury in the opening 10 minutes.
While Leo Cullen was sprung from the bench for his last moments of action as well.
Leinster - who led 14-12 at the interval - scored tries from Zane Kirchner with two, Shane Jennings and Gordon D'Arcy with Jimmy Gopperth splitting the posts for the rest of the points.
