Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that Frank Lampard will join Manchester City on loan.
The former Chelsea midfielder will join the club until January, as he looks to maintain his fitness before joining the latest MLS franchise, New York City FC.
The MLS season begins in March, so Lampard will head State side next January to begin pre season training.
