Kilmacud Crokes are into the Leinster Hurling semi final.
They needed extra time to edge out Laois champions Rathdowney Errill at Parnell Park yesterday in a thrilling quarter final tie.
The sides were level at 17 points apiece after normal time to take the game to extra time.
But Rathdowney should have won it before extra time, as they missed two chances late on to take a win which they would have deserved.
The Stillorgan side kicked on in extra time, winning out by 23 points to 22 in the end.
Crokes Captain Sean McGrath was the hero for the Dublin champions, hitting 15 points in the game, 14 of those from places balls.
