It was meant to be the tie of the Champions League last-16, but in the end Real Madrid made relatively light work of Paris Saint Germain.
After defeating the ambitious Parisians 3-1 in the first leg, Zinedine Zidane's side visited the Parc des Princes and won 2-1 to book their place in the quarter finals.
Kevin Kilbane was at the game tonight and he joined Joe on the Football Show to sum up the action and from a PSG point of view, they remain far from where they want to be.
"You're looking at the start of the game, Unai Emery the PSG manager spoke of a team that was going to be set up to attack Real Madrid. And you know what? First half was so dour from a spectator point of view. They offered very little," said Kevin.
"I have to give credit to Real Madrid, how they set up. I thought Ramos and Varane with Casemiro and even Kovacic in front of the back four really provided a real platform from a defensive point of view for Real Madrid.
"But PSG offered so little. Given what they have spent and given how Unai Emery talked them up at the start of the game, they offered so little throughout.
"Tonight, it showed how far behind they are Europe's elite. That was the thing that was telling to me."
