The Guinness Pro 14 interpros continue this weekend with Munster hosting Connacht and Ulster visiting Leinster all on Saturday.

Keith Wood joined Ger to preview the two fixtures and they started off by discussing James Lowe, who has made quite an impact for Leinster since his arrival.

"I was looking at him two weeks ago and I was just saying, offensively he's impressive and he's full of energy and he's unbelievably annoying to play against. He would be driving you mad," said Keith of Lowe, who signed from Super Rugby side Chiefs ahead of the 2017-18 season.

"He's all kind of hair and elbows and nudges and pulling and dragging at everything which you don't necessarily expect from a winger and he wants to make an impression and I think in attack he's making a really good impression. Some of his running lines, his passing, his offloading, his balls into space... he gets the game, he knows the game. He's a proper player.

"I think defensively he's been lost on a few occasions. Whether it's just a change in system or a change in idea, he gets caught out and comes in a couple of times and I would expect that to be gone very soon. So whether he can keep that energy up for another six months or whatever is left - four or five months - will be interesting to see. But I think he started incredibly well. I wasn't worried about it but I thought it was an unusual signing to bring a player in when there is such a conveyor belt of talent coming into the Leinster back-line. But he shakes up the guys who are coming in."

He added that Lowe appears to be "the heir apparent to Isa Nacewa and that fits very well for Leinster".
