John Terry is staying at Chelsea.
The Blues skipper has signed a new one-year contract at the club, following speculation he was set to leave the club.
His existing contract expires in the summer and he had announced earlier this season that he was expecting to leave the Stamford Bridge club.
Reports had suggested he was close to a move to Chinese football, which would have been worth around €25 million to him.
He was offered a new deal by Chelsea last week and the club have announced that he has signed the contract to remain at Stamford Bridge for next season.
It means he will work under new manager Antonio Conte.
Speaking to Chelsea’s website, Terry said: ‘I am delighted to sign a new contract with the club. Everyone knows I'm Chelsea through and through.
‘I am looking forward to next season under the new manager and hopefully we can make it a successful one.
‘Also, a special mention to the fans for their continued support. You’re the best in the world.’
