Martin O’Neill has received some good news on the injury front, ahead of Saturday's World Cup playoff first leg against Denmark.
Jeff Hendrick looks to be winning his fitness battle, after training with the fitness coach today.
He missed both Monday’s and yesterday’s sessions with a glute problem, having come off in Burnley’s Premier League win over Southampton last weekend.
He had a scan on that injury yesterday, but the results have returned all clear, so he was available to train today.

Stephen Ward also trained today, after missing yesterday's session with a knee problem.
Ireland are away to Denmark in Copenhagen for Saturday’s first leg of the playoff, with the return leg at the Aviva Stadium next Tuesday.
There will be live commentary of both legs of the playoff on Off The Ball on Newstalk.
