For those of us who grew up in the 1990s, James Richardson was a very familiar and welcome face, bringing us the sights and sounds from Serie A's football fields and the cafés of Italy.
That of course was in his Gazzetta Football Italia heyday. But he will be in Dublin on March 19th to present the Totally Football Show podcast's live show at Vicar Street.
Ahead of that, 'AC Jimbo' took time out to chat to Joe about his broadcasting career, taking us back to irreverent days of Football Italia that beamed into all our living rooms and also explaining why he departed the highly successful Guardian Football Weekly podcast to begin the new venture with the Totally Football Show.
He also discusses the direction football broadcasting is taking among other topics.
