James Lowe has begun training with Leinster this week and could make his debut against the Dragons at the RDS later this month.
Lowe signed a three-year deal for the province earlier this year, but his arrival has been delayed, as he was playing for his Super Rugby side the Chiefs and also in the New Zealand Provincial competition, the Mitre 10 Cup, with the Tasman Makos.
The New Zealand-born winger played 16 Super Rugby matches this year, scoring 11 tries.

“It’s still very exciting to come over here”, Lowe told Leinster Rugby TV.
“It’s a whole new challenge for me- it’s something I haven’t experienced before, so I’m keen to learn and to hopefully help where I can.
“I’m just excited more than anything.
