Ireland greatest ever rugby player has died.

Jack Kyle, passed away last night at his home at the age of 88.

He starred in the Irish Grand Slam winning side of 1948.

He also won Five Nations titles in 1949 and 1951 during his 46 Ireland caps.

Kyle was voted as Ireland's greatest player of all time in a poll in 2002.
