The Dublin hurlers have been hit by a raft of injuries ahead of their Leinster Championship opener against Wexford this weekend. Danny Sutcliffe has been ruled out of the game, after having surgery on a hand injury last week that is expected to keep him out of action until early July. Fellow All Star Liam Rushe is also expected to miss the game with a hamstring injury.
Meanwhile, Alan Nolan is expected to start between the sticks, with Gary Maguire still recovering from a broken thumb he sustained in club action for Ballyboden St. Endas. And David Treacy is only expected to be fit enough for a place on the bench after suffering a quad muscle injury. The game takes place in Wexford Park this Saturday evening, with throw in at 7pm.
