Jose Mourinho has urged fans not to mistake his laziness for a lack of commitment to Manchester United.
The United boss could exit Old Trafford upon expiry of his contract at the end of next season and is being linked strongly with PSG.
He moved to quell speculation but a failure to put roots down in the city has given the impression that Mourinho does not see himself at United for long.
The former Chelsea manager has resided at the five star Lowry Hotel for over a year since getting the job.
Mourinho's wife and family still live in London and the United boss says they have no plans to join him in Manchester. Mourinho is reportedly living in one of the £700 per night Riverside suites.
Describing the suites on the website the Lowry Hotel say: "They have the feeling of a private apartment with a king or two individual beds offering plenty of space with a separate bedroom, lounge and dining room and kitchenette.
"Bathrooms are finished in Italian porcelain tiles and glass mosaic detail. All have bath, walk in shower luxurious toiletries, slippers, fluffy bathrobes and towels."
Mourinho reaffirmed his commitment to the cause on Thursday amid reports he has begun negotiating a new deal. The 54-year-old though says he he has no plans to buy a house.
He says that is not because of uncertainty surrounding his future, he's just too lazy to bother house hunting.
“I am very lazy and because I like to arrive in the hotel, I don't want anyone to be worried because I live in a two square metres room, I am living in an apartment inside of a hotel where I have all the comfort, the support, where I have everything I want, like I am living in a house.
“So if they are worried about me being comfortable, happy and supported, I really am. That's the way I feel very comfortable.
“If they want me in some house that I don't like, in some place I don't like, lonely from my assistants, if they want that, I would be a sad guy and a sad guy doesn't work well.”
