Dundalk have a comfortable lead going into their home Europa League qualifier return against Jeunesse Esch.
The Lilywhites went to Luxembourg and won 2-0 with a second half brace from Richie Towell, the first from the penalty spot.
The return is at Oriel Park on Thursday week.
