The Irish squad train this morning in Malahide before flying to Germany for the big Euro qualifier against the World Champions tomorrow evening.
The Germans have suffered another blow in midfield, with Christoph Kramer set to sit out the game with a stomach bug.
He joins the likes of Sami Khedira, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Mesut Ozil on the sidelines.
German manager Joachim Loew was speaking to the media earlier ahead of the game.
He says he expects the Boys in Green to be a similar challenge to Poland, who beat the Germans on Saturday.
"We've seen both of the Irish games and, having analysed that, we can expect sort of copy of Poland” he said.
Loew added “Ireland are good fighters, have good commitment and a fantastic fighting spirit. They know how to defend, a very well organised team”.
