The Republic of Ireland beat the USA by four goals to one in this friendly international at the Aviva Stadium.
Robbie Brady was the star of the show with a couple of excellent finishes.
The Hull City midfielder put Ireland 2-1 up in the 55th minute with a neat finish after good work from David McGoldrick who looked the part on his first appearance in the green shirt.
And Brady put the icing on the cake with a beautiful curling free kick into the near corner of the net in the 86th minute after Stephen Quinn had been hacked down.
After Shane Long had hit the post following a fine solo run, James McClean found the net for Ireland's third though it probably should go down as an own goal as it took a huge deflection.
Ireland opened the scoring in the seventh minute after delightful play from McGoldrick who played an exquisite one-two with Anthony Pilkington who finished with aplomb for his first goal for his country.
A dreadful mistake from David Meyler briefly let the States back in the game as his misplaced crossfield ball let in the Americans with Mikkel Diskerud poking home.
Aside from McGoldrick, right back Cyrus Christie also impressed on his debut.
