The Football Review Committee's main proposal is to have 4 provincial championships with 8 teams each. So the losers of the three preliminary matches in Leinster and the one in Ulster would 'move' provinces to balance it up. The FRC also wants the All-Ireland club championship to be completed in the same calendar year. Vincent's claimed the Leinster title yesterday but the aim would to be have the Provincial finals completed by mid to late November and then have the final in December. As expected they've given their approval to cutting the age of of the minor grade from under 18 to under 17.
