Luke Fitzgerald could be available to play for Leinster this week following another spell on the sidelines. The winger has been struggling with hip and groin problems for a few months now. Team manager Guy Easterby said today the coaching staff are hopeful he'll be ready to play Treviso but admits it's been tough for the player.
"I imagine he's frustrated but he's a good professional and he's working extra hard to try and overcome it and try get a run of games again."
The Blues will be hoping to avoid a third defeat in a row when they welcome the Italians to the RDS for their Rabo Direct Pro 12 clash on Good Friday. Scrum-half Isaac Boss insists there's no need to hit the panic button just yet.
I don't think everyone is thinking it's dire straits. We lost two games, away matches, in the space of 5 or 6 days against two good sides. You've got to give them a lot of credit too for putting pressure on us. It's just ourselves. I don't think that there's anything we need to change, it's just that we need a little more focus."
Lock Mike McCarthy has warned against anymore defeats.
"We're in a good place looking at the table but we know it's kind of knockout rugby now. Anymore slip ups, that could be the season for us. We're at the top and we want to cement the top place to try and get the home semi-final and final."
