When it comes to our international football age grades, the Under-15s are the first rung on the ladder.
On the long weekend of October 27th, the newest set for Ireland Under-15s were put through their paces across a three-day training camp starting in Enfield and ending with a match against the Paul Osam's Ireland Under-16s at Abbottstown.
I went along to Day 1 at Enfield's Johnstown House where the final 18 players picked in the squad by Under-15 head coach Jason Donohue and their parents were introduced to the international scene for the first time and met some of the backroom staff including FAI Head of Fitness Dan Horan and ex-Ireland defender Sean St Ledger who's on the coaching staff.
You can watch the full report from Day 1 above as it appeared on Off The Ball AM including interviews with Donohue and Horan.
Those full interviews can also be found below and on the Team 33 podcast section.
