The FAI have revealed this afternoon that tickets for the home leg of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Play-Off will go on sale to official Republic of Ireland supporters from Friday, October 20.
Public sale of tickets for the home leg will begin just three days later, starting at 11:00am, with prices starting at €30 for adults and €20 for kids - excluding booking fees.
The draw for the play-off takes place at 1pm in Switzerland next Tuesday, October 17 after which manager Martin O'Neill will know the opponent his team will face over two legs.
The Boys in Green are unseeded but could possibly be drawn to play at home for the second leg.
The dates available for the return leg are Sunday, November 12 to Tuesday, November 14 but the FAI have notified FIFA that they would have to play on the Tuesday.
That would be to allow the pitch recover after the rugby international clash between Ireland and South Africa on November 11.
If Ireland end up with the home leg first they will play on Thursday, November 9th or Friday, November 10.
The four seeded nations that O'Neill's men could be drawn against are Switzerland, Italy, Croatia or Denmark while Northern Ireland, Sweden and Greece complete the unseeded quartet.
Applications for the away leg can be submitted via the Away Ticketing System on Thursday, October 19 - http://away.fai.ie
FAI Season Ticket holders, Club Ireland members and Jack Charlton Lounge patrons can avail of an exclusive pre-sale period starting on Wednesday, October 18 at 11:00am. This pre-sale is only for the home leg.
