Dundalk have sold Stefan Colovic to FK Cukaricki.
The midfielder was only brought on board from another Serbian side - Proleter Novi Sad - twelve months ago.
Colovic made 14 SSE Airtricity Premier Division appearances last season, and was introduced as a substitute in four of the Lilywhites' UEFA Europa League group games.
His only goal came in a 2-1 defeat away to Sligo Rovers in August.
As the 26-year old had signed a two-year contract last year, Dundalk have pocketed an undisclosed fee for his services.
Meanwhile, a recent arrival into Dundalk has praised the powers of persuasion of head coach Filippo Giovagnoli.
Latvian international defender Raivis Jurkovskis was signed earlier this month, but is currently quarantining with his family following their arrival into Ireland.
"I had another offer from a club in Poland but I spoke to Filippo Giovagnoli and I liked what he said to me," Jurkovskis told DundalkFC.com.
"It was important that he wanted to speak to me.
"He made it clear that he wanted me to come here. He is a good coach and he is one of the reasons I chose Dundalk."
Jurkovskis added, "I was happy when my agent told me that Dundalk were interested in signing me.
"I watched both of their UEFA Champions League games with Riga and I also watched the UEFA Europa League games with Arsenal last year.
"The team played very well and I think that the type of football that they play suits me. It’s physical, strong and fast. I love this kind of football."
