The Dublin footballers left it late last night to snatch a draw against Mayo at Croker.
It finished Dublin 3-14. Mayo 2-17 in front of over 22,000 supporters.
The Dubs led by 7 points to 5 after 22 minutes with some fine scores from Alan Brogan and Cormac Costello.
But a Kevin McLoughlin goal gave Mayo a lead that they would only relinquish in added time.
Stephen Cluxton made the Dubs job even harder as he was sent off after 28 minutes for a trip on McLoughlin, who tried to stop the Dublin keeper taking a quick kick out.
Eoghan O'Gara was brought on late in the second half and scored two goals in the final five minutes to secure a point.
Jack McCaffrey even had a chance to win the game in stoppage time, but his effort drifted across the face of the goal.
The Dubs face Tyrone next week in Omagh needing a result to secure a semi final spot.
