The Dublin footballers lost their second league game in three weeks as they lost by 6 points to Derry.
It finished at Celtic Park, Derry 1-16. Dublin 0-13.
The Dubs were always playing second fiddle, and only led the game on two occasions.
Derry's Mark Lynch was the difference in the end as he notched 1-8, with an impressive 1-4 coming from play.
Philly McMahon was send off for the Dubs with 13 minutes remaining. But despite some good pressure from the All Ireland champions, they just couldn't break down the strong Derry defence.
The Dubs take on Mayo next, as they go head to head at Croker next Saturday.
