It took them a while, but Dublin eventually found their rhythm to see off Laois on a scoreline of 2-21 to 0-16 in their Leinster Football quarter final at Croke Park.

Dublin trailed Tomás O Flatharta's side 0-10 to 0-8 at half time, having also lost Bernard Brogan late in the half with what appeared to be a hamstring strain.

But a typically dynamic performance from Kevin McManamon spurred the Dubs on. The St Judes man levelled the scored with a brace of points just after the break.

Second half goals from Diarmuid Connolly and Michael Darragh MacAuley saw the Dubs take control, and from there they never relinquished control of the game, going on to win by 11 points.

It's Wexford next for Dublin in the Leinster semi finals.

Kildare are also through to the Leinster last four, thanks to an emphatic 1-22 to 1-07 win over Louth in the opening game of the day at Croke Park.

In the Ulster quarter finals. Armagh ran out 1-12 to 0-9 winners over Cavan at the Athletic Grounds in a game that was marred by a brawl involving 12 players during the pre-match parade.

Armagh's Ethan Rafferty also received a black, yellow and ultimately red card in that game.

Mayo survived a scare to book their place in the Connacht football final.

A Ciaran Cafferkey goal early in the second half had given Roscommon a sniff of victory, but Mayo came from 3 points behind to win 0-13 to 1-9.

Cork have had it much easier in their Munster hurling quarter final replay, beating Waterford 0-28 to 0-14 at Semple Stadium.

They'll face All Ireland champions Clare in the semi finals next Sunday.
