Dublin retained their Allianz Football League Division 1 title with a 3-19 to 1-10 hammering of Derry in the final at Croke Park. Jim Gavin's men showed once again why they'll be the team to beat in the Championship this summer although an early Derry goal raised hopes of an upset. However the All-Ireland and league champions dominated the rest of the first half to lead by seven points at half-time. It was even more impressive in the second half thanks to goals from Bernard Brogan, Kevin McManamon and Diarmuid Connolly and the Dubs could even afford the luxury of 17 wides as they hit cruised to victory.
