Ger Cunningham is the new Dublin hurling manager.
The three times All Ireland medal winner with Cork has signed a three year contract.
Cunningham coached the Cork team which lost out to Clare in last year's All Ireland final.
The Dublin County Board will appoint his back up team at a later date.
Cunningham replaces Anthony Daly in the Dublin hotseat and County Board Chairman Andy Kettle is "confident that Ger will build on the progress achieved by his predecessors over the next three years" .
