The Dublin Hurlers will have to wait a little longer to kick off their 2014 season, as tonight's Walsh Cup opener against UCD has been postponed.
The game will now take place on Tuesday evening at Parnell Park.
A number of youngsters are expected to start for the Dubs, as Anthony Daly gives players a chance to work their way into his plans for 2014, including Barry Connolly, who is the son of 1980 All-Ireland winning Galway captain Joe Connolly.
One sour note for Daly however, as full back Paul Schutte has been ruled out for 8 weeks after undergoing surgery on a broken thumb.
