It was heartache for the Dublin ladies football team yesterday as they lost the All Ireland final by a single point to Cork.
It finished at Croker, Cork 2-13. Dublin 2-12.
Lindsay Peat hit both goals for the Dubs, as the Girls in Blue were leading by 2-10 to 6 points early in the second half, before the Rebels started an incredible fight back to claim their 9th title in 10 years.
It was particularly disappointing for Dublin manager Gregory McGonigle as he also lost All Ireland finals to Cork in 2011 and 2013 while in charge of the Monaghan ladies.
And after the game, 98FM's Stephen Doyle spoke to McGonigle, and Dublin midfielder Denise Masterson.
